Overview
The Medical University of South Carolina Children’s Hospital After Hours Care is seeking general pediatricians to provide state of the art, family centered care to children under the age of 18 who present with acute illnesses or injuries.

- After Hours Care operates 365 days per year, from 3 to 11pm on weekdays and from 12 to 8pm on weekends and holidays. The physician will be a member of the Department of Pediatrics, Pediatric Emergency Medicine Division. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate to pediatric practice and/or pediatric academic experience.

Infrequent - 0-2 hours per shift - Ability to perform job functions in an upright position; seated; walking/mobile; indoors; outdoors in all weather and temperature extremes; confined spaces; kneeling; squatting; pinching; full use of hands/arms; repetitive motions; reach in all directions; finger dexterity; tactile sensory function; lift and carry up to 15 lbs.; lift objects from floor to 36 inches; lower objects from 36 inches to floor; push/pull up to 15 lbs.;
maintain 20/40 vision with or without correction; see objects at close and distance; depth perception; peripheral vision; maintain hearing acuity with correction; gross and fine motor movements
