Commercial Concrete Project Manager

A leading commercial concrete contractor is seeking an experienced Concrete Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial concrete construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This opportunity is ideal for a Construction Project Manager with strong commercial concrete experience who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys leading complex projects.

The Project Manager will work closely with Superintendents, field teams, and leadership to ensure commercial concrete construction projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial concrete construction projects from preconstruction through closeout

• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and critical path timelines

• Review labor costs weekly with Superintendents to ensure budgets remain on track

• Monitor project productivity, cost control, safety, and quality standards

• Coordinate with operations teams regarding formwork, logistics, manpower, and schedules

• Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to align project plans and expectations

• Manage material buyouts and ensure timely delivery of materials to jobsites

• Prepare change orders, proposals, RFPs, budgets, and project schedules

• Track project progress, jobsite productivity, and project performance

• Participate in internal and client construction meetings

• Maintain project documentation including contracts, change notices, and logs

• Ensure all project closeout documentation is completed

• Share lessons learned and recommend process improvements

• Keep executive leadership informed of project status and potential risks

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial concrete construction experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• Strong knowledge of concrete construction practices, formwork systems, and structural concrete methods

• Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously

• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

• Ability to identify and resolve complex construction challenges

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with field teams

• Comfortable working in a deadline driven construction environment

• Willingness to travel to jobsites as needed

Preferred Experience

• OSHA Certification

• Bilingual English Spanish

• Experience using AutoCAD or Tekla

• Experience working with commercial concrete contractors or general contractors
