What are we looking for?

We are seeking a Grading Foreman to lead a grading crew, ensuring that project tasks assigned by the Project Superintendent are completed properly, and that the crew is adequately staffed and equipped.

What you will get to do:

Interpret construction drawings and specifications related to the project.

Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety and compliance with specifications.

Train workers in construction methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.

Locate, measure, and mark site locations or the placement of structures or equipment using measuring and marking tools.

Coordinate with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve issues or facilitate activities.

Direct crew members on proper procedures to ensure safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.

Collaborate directly with the Project Superintendent to meet client needs.

Record operational data such as personnel, production, or other relevant information on designated forms or reports.

Initiate personnel actions like promotions, transfers, or hires as needed.

A self-starter with high motivation
Experience managing paving crews (preferred)
Experience operating asphalt paving equipment (preferred)
