We are seeking a Paving Foreman to oversee grading crews, ensuring the project is properly planned, staffed, and equipped.

What you will do:

Interpret construction drawings and specifications related to the project.

Apply knowledge of mix types, codes, and Supplemental Technical Specifications SC - M - 400 - HMA.

Recognize differences between mainline and low tonnage asphalt applications, considering temperature restrictions, required thickness, etc., to ensure accuracy.

Inspect work progress, equipment, and sites to verify safety and compliance with specifications.

Train workers in construction methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.

Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment.

Coordinate activities with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors.

Direct crew members on proper procedures to build the job safely, on time, and within budget.

Collaborate with the Project Superintendent to meet client needs.

Record personnel, production, or operational data on reports or forms.

Initiate personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, or hires.
