Job Description

Overview A well-established commercial contractor is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. The role focuses on building exterior restoration, façade work, and parking deck rehabilitation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise in commercial restoration, and a hands-on approach to coordinating resources and managing subcontractors, clients, and engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, and communicate project schedules
  • Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to meet project requirements
  • Manage project resources, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation: submittals, photos, change orders, RFIs, progress reports, and closeouts
  • Conduct regular client and engineer meetings to report project progress
  • Oversee quality, production, and adherence to project specifications
  • Promote and enforce a safety culture with a goal of zero incidents, including safety meetings and training
  • Proactively manage project budgets, billing, and financial documentation
  • Build and maintain business relationships critical to project success
  • Represent and uphold company values and professional standards
Qualifications & Skills
  • Technical expertise in masonry repair and restoration, sealants, waterproof coatings, concrete repair, deck waterproofing, historical building restoration, building cladding, expansion joints, and exterior water management
  • Two-year college degree in Construction Management or equivalent field experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore)
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and construction documents
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem solving
