Qualifications/Skills

• Accounting background
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong keyboarding skills
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Working knowledge of Word
• Team player

Duties Include

• Issue checks for payment of accounts payable
• Process expense reports
• Prepare daily cash flow spreadsheet
• Maintain daily source work for operating and trust accounts
• Maintain monthly expense spreadsheet
• Pay monthly and vendor bills
• Prepare and maintain prepaids
• Pay monthly credit card bill
• Prepare Real Estate Closing Checks
• Process transfers of funds on bank website
• Check for and enter incoming wires for real estate
• Reconcile cash accounts monthly
• Prepare non cash reconciliations monthly
• Resolve account discrepancies through review of documentation
• Process journal entries daily and monthly
• Stop payments on checks
• Void and re-cut checks
• Maintain folder for bills that are to be paid at a later date
• Enter Sled check requests
• Enter Thomas Cooper Checks
• Attorney Requests for information
