Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and sustain Lean manufacturing initiatives across production and support functions
  • Drive daily management routines, visual performance tracking, and accountability systems
  • Identify and eliminate waste using Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, SMED, standard work, and value/material flow analysis
  • Coach teams in structured problem-solving (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
  • Improve key performance metrics including OEE, yield, scrap, throughput, and cost
  • Partner with Operations and Maintenance to support TPM, reliability, and equipment performance
  • Support process optimization, layout improvements, pull systems, and inventory control
  • Ensure improvements are documented, standardized, and sustained
  • Champion safety, quality, and compliance in all improvement activities
  • Train and coach employees at all levels to build long-term continuous improvement capability

  • Sustainable improvements—not one-time fixes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5+ years of Lean / Continuous Improvement experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher preferred)
  • Experience in heavy manufacturing and/or union environments a plus
