Overview
Sub‑Acute, Long‑Term Care is a sector of healthcare exploding with potential and work‑life balance flexibility (no on call or weekends)! We are seeking a full‑time (32–40 hours per week) provider for a float position between our centers located in the eastern West Virginia panhandle (cities include Shepherdstown, Charles Town, and Martinsburg). This position can be filled by a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
The salary range for this position is $109,000–$123,000 per year.

The Advanced Practice Provider reports directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager. The provider collaborates on‑site with center leadership teams for center‑specific goals and priorities and with the Medical Director or Attending Physician for patient‑specific medical care. The provider delivers primary and urgent care services to nursing center residents in collaboration with other medical providers and works collaboratively with center leadership to achieve Align Med Partners’ mission of improving the lives we touch through the delivery of high‑quality health care and everyday compassion.
QualificationsThe Advanced Practice Provider must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing program, licensed as a registered nurse, certified as a Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s Degree in Nursing and a concentration in Older Adult and/or Family NP. Other concentrations will be considered based on experience and business needs. The Physician Assistant must be a graduate of an ARC‑PA accredited program, pass the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE), hold PA state licensure, and be NCCPA certified.
A minimum of two years’ experience working with adults or a geriatric population is preferred.
In states where practice allows, an APRN must hold an unrestricted professional license, DEA number for each state in which they practice; the PA must hold an unrestricted professional license and DEA for each state in which they practice.

Restrictions apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable state law, and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service. Eligibility for full‑time benefits requires a minimum of 30 hours per week. Certain benefits, including health plans, are not available to part‑time employees working 16–29 hours per week.
