As a Customer Service Technician, you’ll be the vital link between patients, caregivers, and providers ensuring equipment is delivered, installed, and explained with compassion and precision. This role blends hands-on technical support (delivery, setup, and light repair of oxygen concentrators, hospital beds, and mobility equipment) with customer service excellence (intake coordination, insurance verification, and physician communication).

Schedule:
Mon-Fri 8:30AM-5PM plus on call rotation outside of normal business hours
Employment Type: 3 month contract
Responsibilities- Deliver, set up, and maintain home medical equipment, oxygen systems, and mobility aids.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and care of equipment.
- Coordinate with physicians, hospitals, and referral sources to ensure accuracy of orders.
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with necessary authorizations.
- Complete delivery forms, intake paperwork, and maintain accurate patient files.
- Provide service to walk-in patients and support office operations as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours patient support.
- Safely operate company or personal vehicle for deliveries (mileage reimbursement provided).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- 1+ year of experience in customer service, delivery/setup, or healthcare support preferred.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfort with intake/order management systems.
- Ability to lift and carry 65 lbs. repeatedly (oxygen tanks, concentrators, beds, wheelchairs).
- Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot equipment.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
- Must pass background check and drug screen.
