RN; Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery

Contract, Full-time Night Shift 70.00 per hour

• Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during labor.
• Assist in the delivery process and provide immediate postnatal care.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Utilize data to assess patient outcomes and improve care processes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.
• Manage and prioritize multiple patient care tasks effectively.
• Support a positive team environment and contribute to team goals.
• Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.

• Current RN license valid in the state of employment.
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
• Experience in labor and delivery nursing, preferably 2+ years.
• Demonstrated accountability for individual performance and results.
• Ability to monitor and interpret fetal heart rates effectively.
• Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
• Proficient in managing and prioritizing multiple patient care tasks.
• Familiarity with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Ability to document patient care accurately and efficiently.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
