- Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during labor.
- Assist in the delivery process and provide immediate postnatal care.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Utilize data to assess patient outcomes and improve care processes.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
- Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.
- Manage and prioritize multiple patient care tasks effectively.
- Support a positive team environment and contribute to team goals.
- Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
- Current RN license valid in the state of employment.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing, preferably 2+ years.
- Demonstrated accountability for individual performance and results.
- Ability to monitor and interpret fetal heart rates effectively.
- Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
- Proficient in managing and prioritizing multiple patient care tasks.
- Familiarity with hospital policies and safety standards.
- Ability to document patient care accurately and efficiently.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
