Day Shift Hours - Monday to Friday - 39 hours

£16.00 per hour

Our client in Crewkerne, Somerset is looking for an experienced CNC Mill Setter who will be responsible for setting and operating 2,3 and 3+2 axis mills, producing small to medium batches.

Responsibilities:

* Set and operate CNC Milling machines. Programming experience is advantage but not essential.

* Inspect finished parts using various measuring instruments and conduct 1st off inspections on other machines.

* Confidence in adjusting machine settings with minimal supervision

* Maintain tooling, replace inserts as needed

* Complete deburring operations as described

* Perform basic machine maintenance

* Operating overhead cranes – training will be provided

Requirements and Skills:

* Minimum 2 years previous experience operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls

* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

* Understanding technical drawings

* Adherence to health and safety regulations

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
