CNC Turner Setter Operator Crewkerne Up to £16 per hour Are you an experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator who enjoys precision work and producing high quality components

This is an opportunity to join a busy machine shop operating modern CNC equipment on small to medium batch work. As a CNC Turner Setter Operator, you will benefit from:

Permanent, full time position on a day shift (Monday - Wednesday: 07:30-16:30, Thursday 07:30-16:00 and Friday 07:30-13:00)

As a CNC Turner Setter Operator, your responsibilities will include:

Setting and operating CNC turning centres using Fanuc controls
Adjusting offsets confidently to maintain tight tolerances
Completing in process and final quality checks using measuring instruments
Managing tooling, including changing inserts as required
Performing basic machine maintenance and general housekeeping
Completing deburring and finishing operations accurately

As a CNC Turner Setter Operator, your experience will include:

A minimum of 2 years setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience working within a precision Engineering or Manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Confidence working independently and within a small team
A proactive approach to problem solving on the shop floor
