Position Summary

The primary purpose of this Research Technician position is to independently carry out procedures, already established and in development, to investigate the mechanisms of intracranial hemorrhage in acute promyelocytic leukemia.

Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience

Knowledge and ability to independently conduct:

  • Animal work (colony maintenance, husbandry, genotyping, injections, tissue harvest, metabolic cages)
  • Cell culture
  • Histology (processing tissues, staining, visualizing, quantifying)
  • General lab duties
  • General biochemical and molecular assays

A basic knowledge of data analysis and bio-statistical analysis is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience

Acute leukemia background and cancer and thrombosis/hemostasis-related laboratory work is preferred.
