Part Time Daytime Grocery Stock Clerk

Grocery Team Member (Stocker, Inventory, Floor Service, Customer Service) - Part Time

Primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires a defined level of product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop. Responsibilities also include processing, packaging, and stocking products according to grocery standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service while unloading stock, and reloading salvage.

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions in English.
• Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
• Physical demands: stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, taste or smell; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally; lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and reach from 6‑72 inches.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Complete company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, and product knowledge.

• Regular exposure to wet, hot, or cold conditions and moving mechanical parts.
• Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Noise level usually moderate.
