Position Overview
Position Number: 48SM25, Posting Number: PG195708TM. Temporary Program/Registration Assistant at UNC Chapel Hill. Role supports college‑access programs for rising high school seniors.
LocationChapel Hill, NC.
Responsibilities- Assist with the physical setup of registration tables, signage, and program materials.
- Greet and welcome program participants and their families.
- Accurately check in and register students for programs.
- Distribute program materials and provide general program information.
- Help organize and manage registration flow to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with breakdown and cleanup of the registration area after each event.
- Collaborate effectively with program staff and other assistants to support event success.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must be available for three Saturday events, May 30th, June 6th, and June 13th.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move light materials, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Positive, helpful, and team‑oriented attitude.
- Previous event or registration experience preferred, but not required.
Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm and Saturday events on May 30th, June 6th, and June 13th 7:00 AM‑3:30 PM.
Compensation$20.00 per hour.
