Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care for stepdown unit patients with various complex conditions
• Monitor patient status, interpret data and communicate changes promptly to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols and physician orders
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the appropriate state or compact licensure
• Experience in stepdown or progressive care nursing
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
