We are seeking an experienced LPN to assist in nursing services on a unit or hall, providing quality care in a geriatric setting.

• Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act under RN supervision.
• Delegate duties to professional nurses and non‑professional nursing personnel, monitoring performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, monitoring physical and mental status for adverse changes.
• Notify attending physician of emergencies and death, implementing changes in orders as instructed or ordered.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school graduate.
• Licensed Practical Nurse, graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing; provide proof of renewal every other year.
• Willing to work as charge nurse and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctors’ orders, with a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certified annually.
• Attend in‑service training and staff meetings as required.
