Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring Trauma Level 1 experience and a NC or compact RN license.

• Work in the Operating Room within a hospital setting
• Trauma Level 1 facility requiring care for patients with complex surgical needs
• Night shift from 9:00pm to 7:00am, four days per week
• No blocked schedule
• Deliver competent perioperative nursing care following professional standards
• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in evaluating patient care
• Participate in unit-based education programs and quality improvement activities
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for complex surgical patients
• Night shift role with no specified blocked schedule

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
• Minimum of one year nursing experience
• Previous Trauma Level 1 experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing
