Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a qualified RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position with trauma level 1 experience and night shift availability.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital-based inpatient Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool
- Serves trauma level 1 patient population
- Night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am
- Five shifts per week, 8 hours per shift
- Floating required across multiple Med/Surg and Telemetry units within the hospital
- Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process
- Anticipate and assess patient discharge needs and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Care for patients with complex physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs
- Use point of care testing and follow organizational standards for care and safety
- Maintain a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry settings
- Trauma level 1 experience required
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (AHA or ARC)
