Position Summary: This position will serve as a Clinical Research Participant Coordinator within the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities. The Clinical Research Participant Coordinator is responsible for research participant management and data collection for a variety of complex clinical research protocols, including leading efforts in gathering, compiling, and reporting data. The Clinical Research Participant Coordinator facilitates the integration of research activities into the clinical care environment, conveying information to a variety of individuals and groups.
The Clinical Research Participant Coordinator will work closely with the PI/Co-PI, an interdisciplinary team of health care practitioners/clinicians/translational researchers, multi-sectoral partners, and key state and national stakeholders to support the needs of youth/young adults (14-26) with epilepsy and co-occurring conditions and their families/caregivers receiving care across the UNC system. The Clinical Research Participant Coordinator will share responsibilities for major aspects of implementation of grant goals and activities as detailed in a 5-Year Workplan.
