Position SummaryThe UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center (LCCC), founded in 1975, is a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center. The Center’s mission is to reduce cancer occurrence and death in North Carolina and the nation through research, treatment, training, and outreach. UNC CASCADE Network Research Base is hiring a temporary Research Specialist based at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health in Chapel Hill, NC.
The study is a 5-year NIH-funded trial to develop, test, and implement effective, scalable, and cost-effective screening and treatment strategies to improve the screening for and management of cervical cancer among women living with HIV. The Research Specialist will be in charge of all aspects of study implementation as part of a friendly and productive team that includes UNC faculty, staff, and students.
They will directly manage day-to-day study activities and serve as the main point of contact for project partners.
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
