Pediatrics, Division of Hematology/Oncology – Chapel Hill, NC Position Summary:
This role serves as Clinical Research Coordinator within the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Hematology/Oncology. The Coordinator will manage Pediatric Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant clinical trials, overseeing protocol activation, implementation, and closure. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and conducting multiple clinical research study protocols, independently collecting and recording data, project administration, and communicating with stakeholders.
MinimumEducation and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences:- Previous clinical trial coordination experience with therapeutic Phase I, II, and III research involving drugs and/or devices in pediatric and/or oncology populations.
- Prior training in the conduct of common research procedures; processing biospecimens, obtaining vital signs, navigating medical records, and data extraction.
- Knowledge of ICH GCP, Federal Regulations, and Guidelines; ability to adhere to established regulations, procedures, and protocols in practice.
- SOCRA/ACRP Certification.
