# Scheduler Chapel Hill, NC 27514## Description
** PRIMARY FUNCTION:
** Manage the front desk of the Carol Woods Clinic which includes greeting residents, scheduling outpatient appointments and appropriate follow up, and scheduling routine regulatory appointments and appropriate follow up for residents living in the Higher Levels of Service.

The person in this role is also expected to:

* RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

*** Schedules appointments for all residents who use the Carol Woods clinic for primary care services.
* Schedules routine regulatory visits and appropriate follow up for residents who live in the Higher Levels of Service.
* Maintains electronic scheduling system.
* Greets and assists residents at the Clinic Reception Desk.
* Arranges appropriate reminders for resident appointments.
* Performs administrative duties for the Clinic.
* Maintains record of physicians’ daily and on-call schedules.
* Participates in clinic quality assurance activities.
* Assists with record keeping and documentation of Employee Tuberculosis Screening Program results.
* All other duties as assigned.## Qualifications
** REQUIREMENTS:**
* *
* Education:

** High School Diploma or equivalent.
*
* Experience:

*** Experience working with the elderly is preferred.
*
* Physical Requirements:

*** Able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, reach and kneel using proper body mechanics for sustained periods.
* Walk and stand for extended periods of time.
*
* Competencies:

*** Communication* Confidentiality
* Organization* Problem Solving
*
* Working Conditions:

*** Climate controlled building; no exposure to extremes of heat or cold.
* Traveling in climate controlled vehicles.
* Potential for exposure to:
* Communicable illnesses
