Laboratory Operations Manager

Director of Business Development - Southeast

this position is about 20 hours per week (4 hours a day, but can be flexible!)

• Help track and maintain the consumables inventory within the laboratory.
• Perform maintenance tasks for instruments and equipment to ensure they are working properly.
• Assist with the procurement process including submission of orders, receiving, and, closing out purchase orders.
• Provides general operational support in the office space (printer, copier, supplies, etc.).
• Support other operational functions as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field with 2+ years laboratory experience.
• Biology focused education is preferred.
• Previous experience working in laboratory operations.
• Working knowledge of laboratory practices and instrumentation is preferred.
• Personable and able to work in a team-based environment
