UNC Hospitals Outpatient Center at Eastowne is a specialty clinic for the evaluation and treatment of conditions related to hormone-producing glands. We provide care for patients with a wide range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, parathyroid disease, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and tumors or cancers of the endocrine glands. We also provide gender-affirming hormone therapy for transgender and non-binary adults.

- No weekends

Provides diabetic patient assessments, conducts educational and instructional activities for diabetic patients and assists in the development and selection of patient education materials.
ResponsibilitiesEducation Requirements:
Bachelor7s degree in an appropriate discipline.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist or licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE).
Professional Experience Requirements:
If Bachelor7s degree, 3 years' experience as a Registered Dietitian;
If Master7s degree, 1 year experience as a Registered Dietitian.
