Conducts routine procedures and tests using radiology equipment to acquire patient diagnostic data. Prepares for and assists the radiologist in complex radiographic procedures, including preparation and administration of contrast media and medications, following all regulations. Performs patient assessments and provides patient care. Evaluates the appropriateness of examinations and the quality of radiographic images.

Education Requirements: Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program. Candidates not yet complete may be hired contingent on completing within 90 days.

Licensure/Certification Requirements: Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or eligible, with registration within one year of hire. Maintain registry and continuing education. BLS certification required.

Professional Experience Requirements: No prior experience required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of radiation safety, electrical safety, infection control, TB, and standard precautions.
