About the Practice
Triangle Regen Medicine and Biologics Center, PLLC, is a physician-led, direct-pay orthobiologics clinic dedicated to advanced treatments for musculoskeletal and nerve conditions. We offer various interventions, including platelet-rich plasma, prolotherapy, and laser therapy. Additionally, we are among the few clinics in the US that provide the Regenokine Program from Düsseldorf, Germany, which has successfully treated hundreds of professional athletes and weekend warriors worldwide.
Our founding physician, Thomas Buchheit, MD, has extensively researched regenerative medicine at Duke and is a nationally recognized leader in orthobiologics.
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with orthopedic/sports procedural experience who wants to join our growing, innovative practice.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate is an APP who enjoys patient care and procedural techniques and has experience in practice management or business.
You will work closely with the physician-owner to help shape clinical operations, optimize the patient experience, and support the practice's long-term growth.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform regenerative medicine treatments, including PRP, prolotherapy, and laser therapy
- Evaluate and manage patients with musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain
- Perform follow-ups, treatment planning, and patient education
- Collaborate with the physician on clinical protocols and outcomes tracking
- Maintain high standards of patient communication
Management Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day practice operations
- Improve clinical workflows, scheduling efficiency, and patient throughput
- Support staff education and coordination
- Help implement systems related to growth, patient retention, and service expansion
- Serve as a leadership presence within the clinic
Required Qualifications
- Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a license in North Carolina
- Prior orthopedic or sports experience, including joint and soft tissue injections
- At least 3 years of clinical experience
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physician leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with platelet-rich plasma or other orthobiologics
- Familiarity with ultrasound-guided interventions
- Experience with EHR optimization, scheduling systems, or clinic growth initiatives
- Interest in long‑term leadership or expanded responsibility
