A well‑established nonprofit organization within the healthcare and professional certification sector is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and long‑range financial planning. This is a full‑time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis.
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000/ yr. W2
Responsibilities- Support development and maintenance of financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long‑range plans using trends, historical data, and market conditions.
- Update and validate financial models, reports, and planning tools to align with the general ledger and financial systems.
- Collaborate with budget administrators and cross‑functional teams to create realistic budgets and provide variance analysis.
- Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and design reporting solutions to enhance transparency and decision‑making.
- Participate in financial system integrations and testing to improve accuracy, timeliness, and process efficiency.
- Track and report on capital projects and investment activity, ensuring timely reconciliation, budget adherence, and appropriate asset capitalization.
- Prepare materials and financial reports for the Board of Directors and committees, including key data, tables, and graphs.
- Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of budgeting and forecasting policies, procedures, and systems.
- 3 or more years in financial analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Experience with EPM or CPM software and proficiency with ERP and accounting systems.
- Background in modeling, budget-to-actual analyses, financial reporting, business process improvement, software optimization, accounting tasks, reconciliations, and forecasting.
- Experience with Planful, Intacct, , ADP, or Salesforce (preferred).
- Understanding of GAAP (preferred).
- CPA license (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
- MBA in a business administration discipline (preferred).
