A Native American owned engineering firm in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a Professional Engineer to provide technical expertise in disaster recovery, hazard mitigation, and resilience projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, five years of relevant experience, and knowledge of the FEMA Community Rating System. Responsibilities include conducting engineering assessments, reviewing compliance of designs, and providing recommendations to municipal staff.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Travel may be required for project sites.
