Are you a recent grad or have a couple of years of experience in the A/E/C industry? Looking to enhance your career and design skills? Join us as an Electrical Systems Designer! We are seeking an engaged EE candidate with design aptitude in areas like low and medium electrical systems, power distribution, PLCs, physical and electronic security systems, telecommunications, life safety, and fire protection.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce construction documentation and drawings for bidding.
  • Work from and/or provide design mark-ups and first drafts, tables, instructions, and drawings for production of accurate construction documents.
  • Perform field surveys alongside team members to gather project-related data.
  • Prepare assessments and reports based on the owners’ facilities, conditions, and requirements.
  • Develop and manage design milestones, schedules, spreadsheets, and reports using MS Word and Excel
  • Create standard engineering and custom specifications.
  • Create and manage files of CAD and Revit drawings, ensuring they meet engineering and client standards.
  • Coordinate, and quality-assure, that the engineering team delivers project outcomes meeting standards and codes.
  • Perform construction administration and provide punch-lists to confirm specifications with the built environment as a record of completion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, or related disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering with a minor in electrical engineering.
  • Previous experience in engineering, design, and/or design/build construction is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to produce quality work in a flexible hybrid environment.
  • No sponsorship provided. Must be authorized to work in U.S.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance at company’s expense.
