Description
The UNC School of Nursing is recruiting faculty to join a top public, research-intensive school with a strong record of external funding (NIH, HRSA, and private sources). We seek applicants whose programs of research demonstrate innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Areas Of Research Interest- Nursing and health systems
- Biobehavioral research
- Digital innovations
- Multi-level determinants of health
- Community engagement
- Prevention of chronic illness
- Health promotion
- Maintain an independent, externally funded research program
- Teach and mentor faculty, graduate students, and/or undergraduate students
- Collaborate within and across disciplines
- Contribute to the School’s research, teaching, and service missions
- PhD in Nursing Science or related discipline from an accredited institution
- Record of independent, sustained research with external funding
- Strong scholarly productivity
- National or international reputation commensurate with rank
- Demonstrated intra- and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Evidence of strong teaching effectiveness
- Experience mentoring faculty and students
- Experience implementing nurse-led models of care or other interventions with healthcare systems or academic partners.
