Position Summary
The Academic Tutor will provide one‑on‑one and group tutoring to UNC student‑athletes in the Academic Support Program for Student‑Athletes (ASPSA). Sessions will cover a variety of subject areas and will occur during evening hours.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver tutoring sessions in individual and group settings.
- Assist student‑athletes in mastering course material, developing study skills, and applying academic strategies.
- Maintain accurate tutoring records and report student progress to program staff.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge base in a discipline of interest and ability to articulate material in a student‑focused learning environment.
Part‑time temporary, 20 hours per week, hourly rate $18.00. Start date January 18, 2025. Duration 6–11 months.
