Summary
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. The Program Assistant serves as a central resource for all prospective Master of Business Administration (MBA) students, including the Full-time MBA and Working Professionals Programs.
The Program Assistant will respond to inquiries, communicating information and expectations, and support the MBA Admissions & Student Recruitment Campus Visit Program. The position reports directly to the Associate Director of Admissions and is responsible for providing specialized administrative assistance to the MBA Admissions team in order to meet departmental needs. The Program Assistant executes front desk operations for the MBA Admissions Suite, general financial functions, trains and supervises Student Assistants, and executes a wide-range of office and/or administrative tasks.
The Program Assistant liaises between prospective students and the MBA Admissions & Student Recruitment office, supporting all candidates participating in the Campus Visit Program. The Program Assistant collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to provide high-quality customer service and develop appropriate solutions to challenges, as they arise.
