Description
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of nursing education through strategic leadership and faculty engagement. The Assistant Dean for Prelicensure Programs will hold a faculty appointment at the Associate Professor rank or above and play a pivotal role in advancing academic excellence and student success.
Responsibilities- Curriculum planning
- Faculty assignments
- Program evaluation
- Mentorship of program directors and staff
- Collaboration on recruitment, admissions, and progression initiatives
- Represent the School to internal and external stakeholders, including the NC Board of Nursing
- Lead efforts in faculty development, succession planning, and continuous improvement of clinical placements and program outcomes
- Doctoral degree in nursing
- Eligible for RN license in North Carolina
- At least 2 years of full-time clinical experience
- Certified Nurse Educator, with expertise in curricular evaluation
- Supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support staff and faculty
