Position SummaryThe primary purpose of this position is to serve as a research lab coordinator for Dorothy Espelage’s Violence Prevention lab in the School of Education. This research lab coordinator will work closely with Espelage to manage school-based research projects and co-supervise undergraduate research assistants. This position requires an understanding of implementation of social-emotional learning programs in K-12 settings, development of online professional development for K-12 educators, knowledge of social science and research methods, knowledge of meta-analytic approaches, and knowledge of SPSS statistical software and APA manuscript formatting.
Candidates must be organized, accurate, and efficient in processing, and recording data for multiple projects. Tasks may include cleaning and processing surveys and screening articles for literature review projects.
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications , Competencies, And Experience- Knowledge of SPSS statistical software and APA manuscript formatting
- The ability to solve unexpected problems and work effectively with a team is required.
- Experience of scientific writing and publications is preferred.
