The Department of Psychiatry at UNC School of Medicine seeks a fixed‑term open‑rank faculty member to provide inpatient clinical assessments and treatment plans. Duties include teaching and supervising fellows, residents, medical students, and other trainees. The role is conducted virtually, delivering psychiatric care to inpatient individuals via the EPIC platform at Jonas Hills Hospital. The incumbent will maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Applicants must hold an MD or DO, be board certified (BC/BE), and be eligible for North Carolina licensure.

Strong clinical skills and experience working with a multidisciplinary team and trainees. Experience with severe and persistently mentally ill patients and those who are substance‑using is preferred.
