Chapel Hill is a quintessential college town located in central North Carolina, roughly equidistant from Durham, a historic heart of Black culture in the state, and Raleigh, the state capital. These three cities constitute the 'Triangle,' a rapidly growing area of the US with excellent public and private grade schools, a vibrant cultural and arts community, world-class higher education, a highly rated international airport with regular flights to Canada and Europe, and both mountains and beaches within several hours' drive.

The Research Triangle Park ( RTP ), located between Durham and Raleigh, has long been a draw for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and computer science companies which benefit from access to young, highly trained graduates from area universities. The Triangle area is a great place to live and work!
