The Division of Endocrinology, Department of Medicine, at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine seeks an open‑rank, fixed‑term faculty member to grow our outpatient transitions and virtual care programs. The role supports the core clinical, educational, and research missions of a large academic medical center.
Clinical Responsibilities- Provide coverage of inpatient consultation services.
- Precept fellows in the outpatient clinic.
- Expand the division’s footprint in North Carolina through virtual care services.
- Focus on quality improvement and patient safety across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
- Deliver exceptional patient care and communicate effectively across disciplines and departments.
- Participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
MD/DO, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
Preferred QualificationsExceptional clinical skills, strong communication and collaborative skills, commitment to teaching and mentorship, and demonstrated ability in quality improvement initiatives.
