Position Summary
The UNC Department of Family Medicine in partnership with the UNC Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research seeks a clinician-scientist with a scholarly focus on chronic illness and/or problems of aging. This joint recruitment provides a superb opportunity for building or enhancing a career in clinical research by providing superb research resources, colleagues with a variety of ranks and backgrounds, links to all six health science schools, a large clinical operation, and world-class informatics.

The physician researcher will serve as a clinician educator in the Department and as Deputy Director of the Sheps Center’s Program on Aging, Chronic Illness, and Long-Term Care.
