Primary Purpose of Organizational UnitThe University Compliance Office (UCO) provides the University with a full range of Human Resources, Equal Opportunity, and Title IX programs and services to support the University’s teaching, research, and public service mission. The department develops and implements strategies and initiatives that will strengthen and support the University’s workforce. UCO is UNC‑Chapel Hill’s designated, central office for addressing issues related to discrimination and harassment based on any protected status, including sexual assault, sexual violence, interpersonal violence, and stalking, as well as retaliation and other related misconduct.
UCO addresses all matters related to compliance with relevant education and employment laws and regulations, including Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other related laws. UCO’s compliance efforts include creating, implementing, and enforcing University policies that promote an equitable, inclusive, and welcoming campus community;
providing accommodations for students and employees based on protected status; handling matters related to equal employment opportunities; and providing educational programs and consulting services in these areas across campus.
This position has a hybrid work arrangement, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
The Testing Administrator will assist the Testing Coordinator by:
- Developing Power Automate Flows to process data from Accommodate into SharePoint/Excel outputs to most effectively and efficiently manage the daily oversight of student testing reservations by Testing Center staff.
- Train the Testing Coordinator in the creation and implementation of ‘Flow’ processes to manage evolving demands on Testing Center capacities and resources.
- Train the Testing Center staff in the implementation of the Power Automate Flows to create the SharePoint/Excel outputs.
- Train the Testing Coordinator in troubleshooting flaws and failures in Power Automate Flows.
- Train the Testing Coordinator in sources of assistance to develop Power Automate Flows and how to leverage AI through prompts and queries.
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Required Qualifications , Competencies, and ExperienceExperience in designing Power Automate Flows to create SharePoint/Excel outputs to support and manage accommodated testing services.
Familiarity and experience with accommodated testing and student needs related to testing accommodations in the post-secondary sector.
Preferred Qualifications , Competencies, and ExperienceExperience with Excel.
