Occupational Therapist (OT) | Chanute, KS

We’re seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) located in Chanute, Kansas
. This is a great opportunity to support patients in regaining independence while working in a collaborative care environment.

Location: Chanute, KS

Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Schedule: Full-time (hours may vary by facility)

• Active Occupational Therapist License (Kansas)
• BLS certification (required)
• New graduates welcome to apply
• SNF experience preferred
• Must provide a negative COVID test within 72 hours prior to start date (results must be issued 48 hours prior)
• Must meet pre-employment credentialing requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.)

• Assess patients’ functional abilities and create tailored therapy plans
• Provide interventions to improve daily living skills and independence
• Collaborate with rehab team members, nurses, and physicians on patient care
• Document treatment sessions, patient progress, and outcomes accurately
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapy strategies and home programs
• Support compliance with facility, state, and federal care standards
