Description:

The Senior Software Developer will design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software for a Government client. He or she must have at least 5 years of software development experience. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in agile development. Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud development experience is desired but not required. Senior Software Developer

Job Duties:

* Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software related to web-based interfaces with associated workflow modules

* Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications
* Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of software

* Design and develop new software products or major enhancements on existing software

* Address problems identified with system integration and capability incurred during testing and implementation of developed product

* Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements

* Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management

* Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, and application integration and testing tools
* Resolve problems with developed software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements

* Participate in the development of software/training user manuals

* Perform other duties as assigned
Security Clearance Requirements:
Active Top Secret Clearance required, with ability to receive SCI clearance in the future. Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of software development experience. Python experience, Splunk and Cribl required.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, mathematics, or related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Desired Skills /

Qualifications:

Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL, relational databases, JavaScript frameworks, SoapUI, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Grafana, Kubernetes, AWS cloud development experience

Schedule:

Day shift, Monday-Friday

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
