🚀 Full Stack Software Engineer (Backend Focus) 📍 Chantilly, VA (Onsite/Hybrid depending on contract) ❗ Applicants must have an active TS/SCI + Full Scope Polygraph We’re seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to support a backend development team focused on middleware and backend services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable systems, working with big data, and contributing to production‑grade solutions.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy middleware and backend services in production environments
- Support RESTful APIs and Spring Boot applications
- Work with big data pipelines and search/indexing technologies
- Perform data quality analysis and implement solutions using Reg Ex
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira and Git Hub
- Leverage AWS services to build and maintain cloud‑based solutions
- Contribute to ongoing modernization efforts, including upgrading Java (8+ to 17 later this year)
- Full stack development with a strong backend focus
- Java (8+), JavaScript, Python, and Bash
- Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
- Big data technologies such as Spark or Py Spark
- Indexing/search tools like Solr or Elasticsearch
- AWS services
- Linux environments (CentOS preferred)
- Jira and Git Hub
- Designing, developing, and deploying middleware/backend systems to production
- Data quality analysis and Regular Expressions (Reg Ex)
