Overview
Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Fullscope Polygraph. The Sponsor requires an experienced Rust developer, focusing on creating high-performance web applications and AI-powered solutions. The estimated Period of Performance (POP) is 1 (one) year. The Web Developer will develop and maintain high-performance web applications using Rust and design and implement AI-powered features and functionality. They will optimize application performance and scalability and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
The Web Developer will write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and stay updated with the latest developments in Rust and AI technologies.
- Develop and maintain high-performance web applications using Rust.
- Design and implement AI-powered features and functionality.
- Optimize application performance and scalability; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Rust and AI technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with parallel and concurrent programming.
- Professional experience with Rust programming language.
- Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
- Experience with web frameworks in Rust (e.g., Actix, Rocket, or Warp).
- Familiarity with Web Assembly (Wasm) for client-side Rust code.
- Experience with database systems and ORM tools (e.g., Diesel).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience in version control systems (Git).
- Experience with machine learning libraries in Rust (e.g., rust-bert, linfa).
- Understanding AI concepts and algorithms; ability to integrate AI models into web applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and security best practices.
- Experience with test-driven development and software V&V processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- SAFe Dev Ops Practitioner, CKAD, Security+, ITIL v3 Foundation, Certified System Administrator, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GCIH, Web Application Pen Testing, Network Pen Testing.
