Zachary Piper Solutions is searching for a highly skilled and motivated mid‑to‑senior level Software Developer to join a growing company based in Chantilly, VA on a primarily REMOTE basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing, maintaining, and testing microservices built on the MEAN stack and must be a clearable U.S. citizen.

• Design, develop, maintain, test, and document high‑quality software solutions.
• Tackle complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
• Stay abreast of and apply new technologies to enhance our software offerings.
• Manage and maintain corporate software libraries efficiently.
• Promptly review, diagnose, and fix defects and problems as assigned.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide expert advice on application design and usage.
• Communicate complex technical issues effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Mentor peers and contribute to the growth of the technical team.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, effective communication, quick learning, problem‑solving, and professionalism.

• 3‑7 years of experience in designing and developing web‑based solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Proficiency with the MEAN stack (Mongo
  
  DB, Express.js, Angular/Angular
  
  JS, Node.js).
• Experience in developing RESTful web services.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Public Trust Clearance.

• Salary Range: $120,000‑$150,000/year (depending on experience).
