Java Developer

In this role, you will work as a software developer for a Federal Government customer on Java, Oracle, and other web technologies under the direct supervision of the Project Manager or Task Lead in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 3+ years of Java programming experience
• Minimum 2+ years experience with Spring Framework
• Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
• Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and user story creation
• Experience in core Java programming
• Basic Skills in Angular, Java scripts, JQuery, REST, XML
• Code, test, and troubleshoot problems within application functionality
• Maintain the existing code base
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Salient CRGT will not sponsor work visas for this opening
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance

Qualifications:

• Utilize SVN/Git Hub repository for source control
• Utilize Version One/JIRA for project and issue tracking
• Certification in Oracle or Java or AWS
