Back-End Software Engineer

Back-End Software Engineer position at Booz Allen Hamilton. We’re looking for an experienced back-end developer with the software engineering skills to identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients.

• Apply software engineering practices to deliver scalable back-end solutions using appropriate architectures and tools.
• Identify potential risks and contribute to solution development for client projects.
• Work with a cross-functional team to develop and integrate systems, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure clean code, reliable logging, and measurable performance.

• 3+ years of experience with software development, including Python, C++, or C
• Experience with orchestration technologies and containerization, including Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience solving complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
• Experience interfacing code with logging tools such as Splunk
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in software engineering, or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree

• Experience with front-end development languages such as Angular and Java Script
• Experience with Open Shift
• Experience with Grafana

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
