Lead / Level III Electronic Security Technician

Condortech Services, Inc. (CTS) is hiring an experienced Lead / Level III Electronic Security Technician to support commercial, law enforcement, and federal security projects throughout the Washington, D.C. region. With 35+ years of industry experience and over $1.8B in assets protected, CTS delivers mission-critical electronic security solutions with a focus on quality, accountability, and execution.
Job Responsibilities- Install, service, and troubleshoot advanced electronic security and low-voltage systems
- Lead junior technicians or work independently depending on project needs
- Follow SOWs, drawings, and blueprints to execute work accurately
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and diagnostics
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Maintain job documentation and daily reporting
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and project requirements

Certifications:
CSEIP (strongly preferred)
- 5–7+ years of electronic security or low-voltage experience
- Self-driven and proactive — completes tasks and checks in for next priorities
- Ability to lead when needed and follow scope and direction
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances
- Real
- Clean background and driving record (company insurance eligibility)
- DCJS registration (Virginia projects)
- OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred / required for some sites
- Ability to lift up to 35-50 lbs
- Strong visual acuity, including color differentiation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work on ladders and lifts (Up to 120ft)
- Work performed indoors and outdoors in all seasons, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- Technicians are expected to supply their own hand tools appropriate for electronic security and low-voltage work from day one.
- Typical tools include pliers, cutters, strippers, punchdown tools, crimpers, fish tape, multimeter, and basic measuring/layout tools
- 18V cordless drill and impact driver required (Milwaukee or equivalent)
- Large power tools and specialty equipment are provided by the company
- Replacement consumables (e.g., crimping dies/blades) are supplied as needed
- Standard hours 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (but can start as early as 5:00 AM pending project requirements)
- Typical Travel duration: min. 2-3 nights-max. 2-3 week stints, depending on scope and project.
- Nationwide travel as needed, with most work concentrated in the Eastern region (drivable)
