Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.;
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, exhibit areas, offices, storage areas, and perimeter spaces; working environments and conditions may vary by location.;
Monitor access points and public areas for unusual activity and/or policy violations, help to deter misconduct, and support crowd management during peak visitation and special events.;
Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate significant issues during shift transitions.
