MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Classification Management Officer 3 CMO 3 to join our team in the
Chantilly, VA area.
- The Classification Management Officer 3 CMO 3 provides comprehensive classification management guidance in accordance with Executive Orders, National Security guidelines and ICD 710, Classification and Control Markings System
- Perform detailed analysis and quick issue resolution
- Provide classification, control marking, and dissemination principles knowledge
- Provide CM recommendations to senior customer leadership
- Generate, track, coordinate and respond to action items in a timely manner
- Conduct classification reviews
- Identify and assess sources for classification determinations
- HS Diploma and 12 or more years of relevant security experience or Associates degree and 8 or more years of relevant security experience or Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of relevant security experience or Masters/Doctorate and 3 or more years of relevant security experience
- Ability to handle complex security classification issues
- Demonstrated knowledge of SCI arena
- Thorough understanding of Executive Order 13526 and it’s implementing directive
- Thorough understanding of IC and DoD regulatory guidance
- Ability to utilize effective writing, communication and research skills
- Previous experience providing protection guidance to federal customer
- Ability to assist the government in the NRO Integrated Security Assessment Program (ISAP)
- Experience working with industrial security staffs
- Security Program Oversight Manual (NISPOM) security policy and procedures
- Working knowledge of acquisition lifecycle security requirements
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
